Greetings to all!

 

I was going to start by saying, “Like the Energizer bunny, we’re still going!” While that’s still true, we had to make a moderate repair to make it so.

 

We arrived here at 1415 CDT (we are now in the Eastern Time Zone) after a seven-hour trip from Ft Walton Beach. The weather was perfect – about 73 degrees and a light, cooling breeze. We located a motel near the freeway. Joan and Joann took the Olson car and found a Laundromat where they did our laundry. Dennis and Keith started out in the Smith car to do some minor shopping. The Smith’s starter would not engage, so Dennis pulled the starter (he can’t stand to see Keith fumble around) and we replaced the Bendix Drive spring. It is working fine, now. Tomorrow, we head for Sarasota-Bradenton on the Gulf Coast.
